MANAGEMENT 360 GENERAL POLICIES

EXAMINATIONS (100% of Final Grade)

As examinations are scheduled in advance, it is the student’s responsibility to be  present and prepared. There will be three (3), 50 item multiple choice mid-term exams, each covering approximately one third of the semester.  The dates and specific chapters are shown on the schedule page. There is a specific set of procedures for exams and they will be discussed prior to the exams. In general, hats, caps, sunglasses, electronic gadgets, dictionaries or odd objects are not permitted. Cheating will result in course failure and disciplinary action. Each student will be required to bring in three (3) standard SCANTRON 882-E Forms by an announced date before the first exam. Two missed exams will result in a failing course grade. One missed exam requires a documentable excuse or 5% will be taken off the FINAL grade.  Make-up exams will NOT be offered. The final course grade will be the average of the best exam out of the first two exams taken PLUS the third exam.

LATE ASSIGNMENTS

From time to time in order to assist students' understanding, written homework  assignments may be made in class in addition to the reading assignments listed on the syllabus.  As these assignments will be used to illustrate and amplify concepts currently being discussed in class, they must be completed as assigned.  Failure to complete such  assignments (including required reading) in a timely manner will result in a deduction of  five (5) % points from the student's mid-term exam grade.

CLASS ATTENDANCE & PUNCTUALITY

Class attendance is a necessary component of this course.  As late arrivals are  disruptive both to fellow students and the professor, promptness is expected.  Certain  earned incentives will be discussed in class to encourage professional behavior in this regard.  STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INFORMATION  PRESENTED IN CLASS WHETHER THEY ARE PRESENT OR NOT.  It is possible that reading  or homework assignments could be changed. It is suggested that in the event of an absence you contact a fellow classmate or a study group member to stay updated.

GRADING

This class utilizes plus-minus grading as follows:
A =94->100/ A- = 90->93/ B+ = 87->89/ B = 84->86/ B- = 80->83 etc.
