We decided to plan and sew a quilt for a raffle to support the ARF scholarship fund. We invite new members to help with this project. Contact Sandra Jewett for details. |

| Theme: | Flowers of the CSUN Botanical Garden (http://www.csun.edu/~hfbio002/botanic.htm) | ||
| Unifying color: | Green, same color to be used throughout to integrate quilt | ||
| Colors: | Multicolored, with use of medium tone fabrics. See information on primary, secondary, tertiary colors on the website http://www.colormatters.com/colortheory.html. Darker and lighter colors can be used for accents. | ||
| Background, sashes, borders: | Colors and widths to be decided | ||
| Techniques for flowers: | Open to discussion: applique, foundation piecing, paper piecing, mixed techniques, etc. | ||
| Quilt size: | 4 wide X 6 long - to give a typical lap/throw size around 46" X 60" | ||
| Block size: | 6" or 8" to be decided later | ||
