Above average (80 th percentile) score on verbal section of GRE; requirement waived for students with 3.6 GPA in approved upper division English courses AND a 3.0 GPA in the last 60 undergraduate units upon entrance to the program. An alternative method of meeting the GRE requirement is available-contact the English Department for more information.
