Professional Shadowing Program
The Professional Shadowing Program (PSP) is designed to provide opportunities for students to network, build confidence, learn in a professional setting, and possibly earn an internship or a job offer.
PSP connects you with successful professionals. Each professional shares all or part of their day to help you better understand their firm and culture. These experiences inject valuable insight that classrooms cannot provide. Professionals share their passion for their career and industry by contributing to you – the best and the brightest – on a personal level. It is a great opportunity for you to experiment with potential careers, ask questions of successful professionals, and develop networking skills. It is easy, rewarding, and earns you 10.1 participation points. It is also a great way to practice being interviewed before you graduate.
Our list of professionals includes finance firms such as Merrill Lynch ad Well's Fargo Investments. We have accounting firms such as Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and KPMG represented. In terms of marketing and management we have Fox, JD Power, and Radio Disney professionals and although we have many more, we are currently recruiting new professionals to expand our network.
This program is so successful it has attracted some great companies including Merrill Lynch, KPMG, Radio Disney and J.D. Power & Associates.

"[this program] gave me the chance to get a feel for what a working professional actually does in my general field of study."
"I'd suggest for all Accounting/Business major students to go to office tours/job shadowing similar to this one because it really gave me valuable insight into the working environment of a CPA firm and learn more about CPAs from professionals. It was indeed a wonderful experience for me."
